Organize the references you want to import into a collection or use one of your existing collections.

Step 1. Right click the collection (Aves in this example) and choose Export Collection....

Step 2. In the Format dropdown choose MODS, make sure Export Notes is unchecked, and click OK.

Step 3. Save the file in a place where you will be able to locate it later.
